Hi, my name is Dannielle and I live in Parsippany, NJ. I recently found a
stray kitten, very underfed, outside my office at Fairfield, NJ. I took her to
the local vet, whom did a blood test and said that it appears that she has
Leukemia. The vet told me that the test was about 70% accurate, and that since
she was so small (about 3 months), it should be done again when she gains some
weight. That being said, I've taken her home and she's absolutely adorable. I
never had any intentions of keeping her (I'm highly allergic), and I don't have
the money to do go back to the vet- nor would I have the money to pay for the
vet bills for a sick cat. I am DESPERATE to find a good home for her, but it
has been impossible... any cat lover's that I have spoke with already have cats
(and the disease is contagious), or do not want a sick cat. I have spoken with
some shelters, all of which have told me that either a) they will not take a
sick cat or b) that I should put her down. I
absolutely refuse to do so because she is a lively, energetic, loving kitten
whom is not showing any symptoms of the illness at this time. I am writing you
for help- a desperate plea to save this little kittens life. Please find it in
your heart to help. *Attached you will find a few pictures of my Figgaro, my
little kitten. She's way cuter than she looks in these pictures- it was
difficult to get her to stay still to take any decent ones! PLS. EMAIL to help
this kitty! [EMAIL PROTECTED]
