She's been on oral antibiotics for the past 2 weeks and is about to start another 10 day dose. First amoxi and now baytril i think.

Oral antibiotics should clear an ear infection, no need for topical antibiotics unless you just prefer to do it that way. That being said, I have used Tresaderm, which is a thiabendazole, dexamethasone, and neomycin sulfate solution for use in the ear. It's good for inflamed and painful ears, as the steroid helps reduce the inflammation. I think it's a much better product than the Otomax. Phaewryn
