Science Diet is trash. Cats are not meant to eat grains, especially corn! They are carnivores. Frankly I think the big increase in IBD in cats is due to people feeding their cats the garbage off the supermarket shelves plus the Science Diet that is so hyped up as being GOOD for aniimals. Baloney!

I asked the vet at that time and she said they do not see Hemobart in young kittens. I don't think Science Diet is a bad food, certainly not the absolute best, but I have never had any problems with it.

First questions that must be answered:
What type and brand of cat litter are you using? Has he been tested for Hemobartonella? If you knew the cat food you were feeding for free was causing him
harm, would you be willing to pay for different food?
