Yes, they were interested in adopting a 7 yr. old that had lived in a cage it's whole life in a puppy mill. So sad! This new dog will need special socialization help. They did say that their vet is a good friend of the husband's, whom he's known since they were 10, and they can and have called her at all hours of the night. This couple has grown children, so only pets live in the house with them. They were very nice folks. I am not sure about the records; I guess the shelter owner will handle that. I will let you know what they decide to do. Thanks for the info. Patti.
