Hi Sue, No help with the thorne immugen, but I would like to tell you our kitty Smookie's story about her ulcer. We adopted Smookie with one eye missing (and fresh stitches) and a corneal ulcer in the other. Nothing that the vet gave me worked for her eye. We tried anti-viral drops, antibiotic drops, etc. We thought we were going to have to have the other eye removed, and Smookie would be blind. Finally, I started her on 500 mg of lysine 2x per day (she was at least 6 months old at the time) and Innova Evo wet and dry food, which is really good stuff. We put the lysine in her wet Evo, which alleviated the fighting to give her her meds. Took her off all the other meds because all she did was fight me all the way anyway. I couldn't believe it when the ulcer started going away, after all that trouble and no results. It was so easy. I don't know if it was the lysine or the diet or a combo, but it went away completely, which was over a year ago, and hasn't come back. She has since been taken off the lysine as well, but she is not FeLV+. If she were, I would leave her on it. A stress-free environment will always help also because stress compromises the immune system and a compromised immune system can allow viruses to get a foothold in the body. Make sure your lysine does not have propynol glycol, an additive. I hope you are able to help your kitty kick this ulcer. They really can be a pain not to mention dangerous.
