Yes, Fred's phosphorus was very high for a CRF cat, high normal for an otherwise healthy cat and his potassium was too low for a CRF cat, low normal for an otherwise healthy cat. This is the one thing I've had to battle my vet over, she will not acknowledge that CRF cats need to have their phosphorus and potassium at a certain level or they have nausea, backend weakness, appetite loss and general not feeling well, not to mention it makes the kidney disease progress that much faster.
