There is a transfer factor Feline complete that my alternative vet uses on her
cat and strongly recommends for her patients. Dixie is on that. Just Born in
another one you really need to consider. Dixie takes it too. It seems like
such a natural way to boost her immune system.
I saw this on the [EMAIL PROTECTED] (hope I spelled all of that right):
This product (Just Born + colostrum) has actually taken some of the redness and
swelling of her
gums down. She hasn't needed any prescription medicine for 2 months
now. I am amazed. I don't think the LPGS will go away, but this is
buying her precious time and making her more comfortable.
Please keep adding to the diet. Dixie looks and acts so much healthier since
she started eating lots of raw veggies with her (high) quality canned food and
raw food. I never thought I would see a cat love veggies. Today it was
(organic) carrots, spinach, broccoli, and green beans. Tomorrow------who
knows. Something similar until I run out of one thing and add another.

exclude any of God's creatures
from the shelter of compassion
and pity, you will have men who
will deal likewise with their
fellow man.

Hi everyone,
I mostly read emails from the group. You folks are much better versed in
treating this disease than I am. I am still learning what works for Junior . I
would have never known about supplements that improve the quality of life for
Junior. I still change things around a bit. Partially in response to what is
going on at the time. I ran out of Junior's transfer factor and I wanted to try
him on the Manopol. So I ordered from a different company. I ordered also
Wellness Transfer factor and Salmon oil for his inflammation. Well apparent
they were back ordered and Junior was not feeling quite so frisky. He was off
the Transfer Factor plus for over a week. Now he did not relaspe but he was not
feeling quite so well. I think is proof that the 4 life Transfer Factor Plus
really was helping.
I started him back on the glaucoma drops to see if the eye swelling would go
down. He is still on Matacam. I am hoping to get him off of it with the use of
the Salmon oil. I am still interested in people's experience with prednisone
or prenisolone for treating inflammation in FeLV cats.
I want to take this time to thank everyone for being so supported. I still
feel the pain of all you that have lost your babies. Last year was a horrible
year for me, losing 4 cats. The rest of my cats remain healthy. I will only
retest if one of them seems sick. They were all equally exposed to the virus in
the beginning and fought it off.
