My husband and I have been feeding Wilson with a syringe since last night. All
three of us are learning, and I am grateful for the reviews of the supplements.
I did order some Nutrical and some Clinicare on line. Until we get the
shipment, we will continue with smushed pate style cat food. I think I will
maybe get some meat baby food, too. I think they may have it at our little
store, and we will make sure there are no onions added. We live 50 miles from a
town, and the vets.

I will not be giving the Nutrical alone, just as a good supplement. I may
alternate the Clinicare with the diluted cat food. I have been adding warm
water to the cat food for hydration, too, and the vet gave me some FortiFlora
which I am giving him. She started him on doxycycline, which I didn't start
giving him until yesterday. I am not sure if it's prophylactic against
infection or what...his white count was good. I trust her, though. Wilson is
not jaundiced, and really looks good, aside from having no energy and breathing
way too fast.

I am calming down, and actually Wilson is a pretty good patient. I have found
in the past that animals really bond with me after I have had to give them
meds--or feedings, in this case--even if the experience hasn't always been
positive on either end!
