We recently rescued a half starved female cat who was outside in bitterly cold weather and being chased by dogs! She is now in the large isolation room at my private shelter where she is gaining weight and looks just great. I want to get her shots, and have her tested for FelV, but wondered how long the incubation period is for FelV. If she was exposed to FelV I think I need to wait about 6 weeks til it would show up in the Elisa test, but I'm not sure....... Does anyone in the group know?
