Terrie, I don't know that we've ever spoken but I always recognize your name when it pops up here as all if my family is from WA. I can't even imagine how difficult this must be. My bf of 11 years is also my partner in rescue, and I know many do not have the support and help of their partners in this line of work. I am sure the bond you have shared for so long spans far beyond the words love, friendship, husband, partner and companion.
I hope the many years lof love you had together will help carry you on. It has to be harder than words could every say and no expression of sympathy could truly feel adequate. Thank you for sharing here so that we can all keep you in our thoughts. It is hard on me since we have been together for many years. He had a genuine love for animals and supported me in everything I did in rescue. My husband passed away 4:30 in the morning on Thursday. He died peacefully in his sleep. I know he is longer in pain and sick is healthy again. He will be greeted by others that have went to the Rainbow Bridge especially by my Taz as he loved him too.
