Hi Kelley,
Such a sad story and yes I can relate, I am very over protective
and I have had a cat get out, so it definitely can happen. Make sure
that if he gets her back to get her microchipped, by law, at least in WA
state any vet has to check for that when an owner brings in a new cat.
