Yes - it's the smear I was asking about. If you let me know what they found
when they looked at the smear, it will probably say whether or not the
platelets were visually confirmed to be low or whether there was blood clotting.

I am thrilled Bogey liked the KFC. I had one cat, a few years ago, with cancer,
and I kept her eating long after the vets felt she should have survived, by
feeding her KFC. My husband and I certainly had our fill of KFC, since we had
to eat it something like 3 times a week. Up here in Canada, we have Swiss
Chalet, which also seems to work wonders on my babies.

One day at a time, Sherri. She's eating and playing. Let's keep our fingers
crossed that the Doxycycline will help.

Armani,
I tried the KFC today, she loved it. So does her mom so that was dinner for
both of us.

The only other information on the results print out they give me is a "smear"
on the bottom. Says "Fluorescence" under it. Mentions rbc, retics, plt, rbc
flags and wbc,in a legend of sorts. I am sure that means something.

Bogey is actually playing with her Qtips this evening. She brought one in to
show me. So she is still having fun. Today has been a good day.
