Rissa-Tai has gotten small scabs before, around her ears and neck area -- they were from her scratching ferociously, a sign of anemia (we could always tell when she started itching/scratching like that that she was anemic). This a different type scab, much larger than nick type scabs, about the size of a nickel. The vet says it might have been an allergic reaction to the injection, but who knows? It seems to be healing some, so we'll see what happens by Thursday. Pam
