Hi Fran - do a double check and see if there are any open wounds on Buddy.
If not, try not to worry too much. Also was he vaccinated for FeLV? If so,
again, try not to worry. IF there are no open wounds (look very carefully),
I think he'll be fine. Generally FeLV requires close contact over an
extended period of time. I don't think one exposure would do it. But if you
want to boost the immune system, it won't hurt. Mix up the following in his
food. You can cut dose in half and give at breakkie and dinner. Use 250 -
500 mg of Vitamin C per day, 30 mg per day of CoQ10, you can try some liquid
ginseng/royal jelly - get the kind in the red box (forget name), but it
comes in little vials with little straws. I just filled one straw and shot
it down my cat's throat, but you can mix in food. If you have thymus, use
about 40mg per day. Honestly, I think he's going to be fine, but check for
wounds. If you are not sure, maybe get the vet to do it.
