Or nearby (Kansas City Missouri area)? I have a feral cat that is getting very tame and very affectionate and may make someone a very nice pet. She has tested positive for FeLV, so I have to keep her in quarantine (I have four other cats. They have not had any contact with this cat, so I don't think I have exposed them to FeLV). I plan to have Josette retested in May. If she still tests positive, I will need to find someone to adopt her or have her euthanized. Meanwhile, I'd like to borrow or rent a large kennel for her to live in - she is currently in a ferret cage and that really isn't big enough for her. I have a room for her to live in, but for several reasons I am reluctant to let her run loose in it. If you know of any kindred spirits in my area (I live in Lawrence Kansas), maybe they would either 1) be willing to adopt Josette if she tests positive in May, or 2) have a large breeder-type kennel I could borrow or rent?
