Hi, just my 2 cents worth. Spoke to a vet today. The reason about using
the 1000cc bag is because the dilution factor is very large. Using a
smaller bag would mean using a very minute amount of the undiluted
interferon and the smaller the IV saline bag, the less accurate in measuring
the ratio. She did say that the current info she has is that it will last 2
months in the fridge. I guess with my 15, I can make a sizable dent in it.
But if you have only 1 or 5, it seems such a waste. I've asked about be
able to refreeze it but she has no info on that. I wonder if there's a way
to get the undiluted interferon directly?

There was mention in another email about lasting 4 months. Is there any
written confirmation on this?

Niki

Hi Helene! The problem is this:
The vet had frozen only those amounts, and that's what she said to dillute
it
in... I really don't have much of a clue as to what to do about it
otherwise...
