I agree 100%.  I have always used female ob/gyn but when I moved here there
were only 2 on my insurance.  One was pregnant and not taking new patients
and one had a 2 month "waiting list."  I begrudgingly went to my first male
and was surprised at how much better it was.  Although, my (female) doctor in
Arlington was great.  Overall, and not to stereotype, but I do agree with
you- male vets and doctors are normally better.
