Rachel:
Three weeks is a long time. Make sure she is not becoming
dehydrated. Grab some of her skin a if you are pinching her at the back of
her neck. If the skin quickly settles back to place, she is probably not
dehydrated, but if it slowly returns to its natural place, she is becoming
dehydrated and you need to get her to the vet. Please try the kaopectate.

<<<Hi Rachel,
I forgot did some say checking her for worms? I rescued Bamama
with kittens like 10 years or so ago. She went into heat two days
before I brought her to be spayed. It's been a while I don't
remember if she had diarrhea. How long has it been? What does
you vet say about her having diarrhea for a long time. I remember
when I first brought Bamama/kittens into the house she had
diarrhea for a week my vet said it was the change of food and
stress of new surrounds but it was gone in 6 days.

PS I hope she is feeling better today>>>
I've got to get a sample to the vet to check for worms. She's had diarhea
for 3 weeks as of yesterday that I am aware of. I must say that it appears
to get better for a day or two and then right back. I don't think it helps
that I cannot always get her to take her medicine. I try and try, but she
just hates those pills.
She is OK. It's a little troubling though to all of a sudden hear her let
out those meows for a minute straight. At least I know whats going on and I
try to get her to play a little to take her mind off of how she feels.
I feel bad for her today though because I will be going to my 3rd job right
after my day job today and I won't be home til' about 10pm tonight. I left
her with lots of stuff to do though - - and I made sure I put some extra
catnip on her Bill Clinton toy. She loves to try to pull his arms off.
She's such a good cat!
Thanks for asking.
Rachel
