Totally off topic-but I need advice if anyone can give it. Emotionally I am
not too stable right now. I lost my mother-she was a diabetic and her blood
sugar dropped low and she passed out. No one found her for 3 1/2 hrs-and by
then it was too late. This happened a week ago. We were incredibly close-she
was my closest friend and I talked to her every day-including that one -even
though at present we lived 3500 miles apart. The service was beautiful-and
we buried her with my brother and her parents-bur this is really hard for me
and I have some major health problems as well. I am also very close to
finishing my masters and was planning to go back and live near her-we were
looking forward to it. Its so hard for me, and I still have to manage school
when all my relatives are 3500 miles away. My husband is great-but I could
use prayers and advice. I talked to her that morning and she felt fine.
About an hour after she talked to me-something happened and she passed out
and apparently slipped into a coma. I apologize for taking up this site-but
I am reallly hurting-and only know 2 people here in Oregon who I am close
to. This fall I'll be moving back-but need advice on surviving the next 4
months. I am grateful that she went without knowing anything was wrong-and
without pain-but I just desperately wish someone had stopped by the house
and found her. She had a friend who had a key for just such emergencies. My
dad came in and found her when he got off work-and this has been enourmously
hard for him-after 33 yrs of marriage it is quite a shock. Sorry for taking
up so much space-I hope you can understand.
