Beth,
I'm so sorry to hear about Miss Gussie. Please don't start second
guessing yourself. You did everything you could. some cats will
accept the force feeding, etc... and it makes others miserable. I just
posted about one of my positives who HATES going to the vet. If she
gets sick again, I may not push her too much with treatments either. It
just depends on the personality of the cat.
Take care of yourself.
