Rachel: Don't need to sound paranoid, but I guess I am now. I took Miss Gussie to the vet for a 6 month check-up & the vet looked at her gums, etc. & gave her a clean bill of health & some vaccines. The next Saturday I was rushing her to the emergency vet because she cried when she tried to walk. She was then diagnosed with severe anemia. Went to my vet the next Monday & said "what gives?", you said she was fine. She said usually anemia is hard to detect until it gets bad. I'm not saying that is what's wrong with your kitty, but don't wait too long to have it checked out. When mine got spayed they seemed fine, but it took 8 months to grow their hair back. Hope she is feeling better real soon.
