unsupervised. He really doesn't mind it and doesn't seem to have any
problems with it, but I don't want to take any chances when I'm not around
either.

Hi Genie,
I use a harness for Charmed only when he is in the living room with
my other cats. I use it just to keep him at bay in case he jumps
down to see one of the cats. He sits contently with me when he
has it on. Charmed is very friendly and my negative cats aren't as
thrill to see him. I don't want any conflicts so in case he jumps I
can monitor him.
I would keep it on him first Charmed is a large kitty even if he's only
10.5 months old. I had to get a dog (med size) for him. I don't put it
on that tight either. He tolerates it only I think cos he knows I am
asking him too. He tries to play and bite it too. I would be afraid he
would bet it stuck in his mouth. But I personally wouldn't keep it on
all the time even though he looks sharp in wearing turquoise!!
