Great news! I contacted Continental Airlines and they would be willing to
transport Carmine from San Jose, California to St. Louis, MO for approx.
$86.00.
I am a little nervous about him traveling alone, so when my boyfriend Mark
returned home last night, and I showed him your email, he said why don't we
see if we can arrange a trip, so that we can go with Carmine to his new home
in MO !! ( I couldn't believe he said that! He is willing to pay for our
tickets, and I will pay for Carmine's fare. He must be a crazy as I am!
But we both love Carmine very, very much.)
So, I'll called Continental this morning and we may be able to get round
trip tickets on a Thursday, arriving in St. Louis at 3:45 p.m. for as low as
$132.00 each round trip. And.... the best part is that Carmine may be
allowed to ride in the passenger area of the plane with us in his carrier.
The earliest possible date this could occur is Nov. 8, 2001 or the perhaps
the following week on Nov. 15, 2001. The airlines request a 21-day
advance for the tickets.
