Re Baytril, yes, my vet gave us Baytril last May, worked well, after Nicky had an enema, had built up bacteria, and he had an infection. (BTW, there'll be no more enemas for Nicky, I hope!!)
If kitty has a fever, then it makes sense that s/he's would not be eating. Fluids? Fluids are needed, maybe syringe or sub-q. Maybe some vitamins via butter or that tube stuff?

vet said sailor had 'double heartbeat'?? when i asked what that meant, Lorine said the vet told her it sounded like fluid 'in the heart'. The vet told Lorine to continue eyedrops and come back in 2 weeks! Lorine said she was not told about any bloodwork being done besides the combo test.
3 other cats in house show no symptoms. fip? herpes? those were my thoughts? any others?
