I seem to have a problem again with urinary tract infection.
One of Charmed sisters had it. We took her to the vet and they
gave some clavamox. Put her on A/D. She hated that so we mixed
some fancy feast in there, so it is 1 part A/D and two parts fancy
feast. I do give her 1 tablespoon of dry A/D (since she perfers dry)
a few times a week as a treat and to keep her teeth clean. Since I
lost Charmed I have been giving her the last few weeks Max
gourmet instead of ff. Today I noticed she just squatted and not
too much urine.
Now I may be crazy but I think some there is something in the max
that just is too high in something for her. I gave up the max dry for
my one cat who right after the foster had the URI. The brother still
eats the max with no problems.
Any suggestions? I guess I am have to take her back to the vet.
She is not really to tame so this is not easily with out a few battle
scares.
I may add cranberry to her water and start to give her C. Has
anyone had luck with this in uri infections?
My Pho was on antibotics she took twice as long to get ride of it
but I gave her some cranberry and c for a week or two also. She is
not on A/D she is just eats a little dry and mainly wet now that she
had the URI.
