You know what guys, after 3 hours of tears, I've got to say that my brain is coming back. They're telling me there's no hope. Really. Well, how can they begin to tell me that my cat is so fatally ill, yet his bloodwork is fine? Wait a second now. FIP was a possibility before, but we kinda ruled that out when his titer came back COMPLETELY NEGATIVE. Now they want to convince me that it didn't mean anything? And the most likely culprit is dry FIP? No wonder this doesn't sit right with me. They're saying there's no hope. Yet they can't prove that. Luke right now is fighting. The steroids are helping him a lot. I am surely not trying to kid myself, but if it was fip, wouldn't there be SOME indicator of that? Somewhere? Okay, his bowels seem to be swollen. He's at times un!
comfortable. They want me to trust their guesswork? This makes zero sense. And our best bet from here is to get another ultrasound that could come back telling us nothing more than we knew before. But it MIGHT tell us something more. Ya know........
