Subject: Check-Ups

Oh vet time, this terrifies me! Been through it ALOT with Sash. Sometimes probably weren't necessary but me being the worried mom over everything I probably rushed him in alot of times when nothing was found wrong anyway, thank god. I try to not do that anymore for fear of the stress it causes him. Only once a year if I can help it.  Sash is a real sweet boy, but he certainly doesn't take well to being there, although he doesn't mind the car ride at all. I also always give extra vitamin C and his vita-mineral mix for stress and take some cat treats to put in his carrier and a jacket/blanket too in carrier with some catnip doesn't hurt. And of course pray there are no dogs there!   Lisa
General question for the group, how often do you take your positives for check-ups and how thorough are they?  Also, if you don't vaccinate, how do you protect from airborne or countertop bacteria and viruses?

I think Franklin should get a check-up, but I'm leery of illnesses he might contract at the vet's.  Thanks.
