OK folks, here are some actual numbers:
hematocrit = 43.6% with range being 24.0-45.0
WBC = 8.0 w/range 5.5-19.5 (x1000/uL)
(just thought I'd share those nice normal numbers with you:))
OK, these are the ones that are not quite right:
red cell distribution width = 19.4 and the normal range is 26.0-30.0
ALT = 112 with a range of 20-100 U/L
BUN = 29 with a range of 10-30 MG/DL
CRE = 1.8 with a range of 0.3-1.6 MG/DL
The interpretation was that it's a mild creat elevation with normal BUN and SG so it's not significant and that the mild ALT elevation is probably not significant. But they are recommending a fasted re-test in about a month. The physical exam showed him in excellent condition but with "small kidneys, especially the right". So.
If anyone has any ideas or questions or wants a number I haven't provided, please let me know! He is a very special little stinky-butt (granted, his butt isn't nearly as stinky as it was when he was tiny).
oh, he's a long, tall, lean kitty weighing in at 10 pounds 2 ounces
TIA!!!
