Hey Jamie - Smoky will actually do that extended kneading thing on my stomach - he'll plant his large burry butt on my leg and just go to town - head down - ears back - purring up a storm - nose running:)) and he'll knead the same spot for 10 minutes straight! and he's a big boy!!! 15.5 pounds even as of 10 days ago

Ok guys, Andy and Barney are the first two boy cats I have ever had (as an adult anyway) and they don't do anything like that. I didn't know that male cats did that- just dogs I thought... BUT Barney does like to burrow himself down in this big soft blanket I have and do happy feet (make bread, kneed, whatever you want to call it). His eyes glaze over and he actually drools and purrs the whole time. He is burried deep in the covers, so maybe he is enjoying himself more than I thought!!! Those crazy cats. But I guess in your case Romeo is really a fitting name huh?!
