Thanks, Terri.  Yes, wouldn't it be wonderful if they could find
a cure for this terrible disease?  Knowing that a kitty you've
grown to love is more than likely fated to an early death is
just so sad.  I'm just glad that so far Smokey is symptom-free. 
I know I'm going to be devestated when the disease takes over
and I'm faced with saying goodby to him.  He is just such a
sweetheart.
