Dear Paolo,
The Interferon that our clinic uses is alpha Interferon and it is
recommended to use the one manufactured by Hoffman LaRoche Laboratories
only! For a 3Million Unit vial it costs us $36.75 US and this will make A
LOT of doses because it gets diluted down 2 x. I am unsure of the exact
brand name of the IFN (short for Interferon), I only ask for the Hoffman
LaRoche one, the local pharmacy that carries it in the US here in Florida's
telephone # is (727) 595-9402. They may be able to give you the exact brand
name. If there was any way that you could get the vial of Interferon and
some Lactated Ringers Solution (what it is diluted in) then I can help you
out with the dilution specifications.
Good Luck,
Emily
