Great ending to Zoe's story, Denise. Sounds like our Velvet (got her with
her mom, Vanna Black, 7yrs. ago - both feral, but Velvet at 6 mos. would let
us pick her up, although very scared. An old man had socialized her a little
bit). Vanna B. still lives with me, but Pam Dunbar adopted Velvet - I showed
her 8 or 10 lovely cats, she picked little scared, blind-in-one-eye black
kitty Velvet, whom no-one else had ever even considered adopting. It was
love at first sight - she of course felt sorry for her. She couldn't be a
better mommy to her, now has 15 kitties (had only one when she first adopted
Velvet!), and is my best friend/best volunteer!
