Hi Jamie,
my search on the web led me to several references to Baypamun.
I found that it's being tested on humans too (under its other name
PIND-AVI), in association with Ginko Biloba, to treat some types of
cancer: it works.
I didn't find any negative report on its use on cats, as long as it
is NOT administered according to the official Bayer protocol,
but with the modified "Bavarian protocol".
It should be remembered that Baypamun simply DOES NOT WORK against
FeLV in presence with antibiotics, but the "official" protocol does not
prohibit them: on the contrary, the "Bavarian protocol" does.
In short, to be effective in fighting FeLV, Baypamun must be
administered with a precise timing (48 hrs), NO ANTIBIOTICS, and
Ginko Biloba (as in treatment of human cancer).
I am curious to see the recent studies you are referring to, and
especially, the conditions under which those studies were carried on.
I performed my last search yesterday night (with Yahoo), but I did
not find anything new.
Thank you for your cooperation and concern.
