Well at least you pursued that first lady.  That is just terrible!  I have always 
thought that if push came to shove the contract wouldn't amount to much.  The only 
part having any weight for us would be the spay/neuter part (if it's a young puppy or 
kitten who leaves the shelter un-altered).  That is only b/c it's state law (both in 
Georgia and Texas) that all animals adopted from a shelter or a/c facility must be 
"fixed."  To me it's not about getting your legal rights in order, it's about 
conveying the seriousness to the adopting party and to formalize the adoption.  It 
also helps keep record of each animal.

Personally, I don't think that judge is worth one cent and I hope someone dismisses 
him so easily one day.
