Well, I think you answered your own questions in that post. If you have
labs in the area that pay for animals, it seems pretty ovbious where all
your missing strays are going. I'm sure people make livings JUST
collecting "strays" and selling them to be experimented on. SICK. I knew
I never wanted to move to Texas, now that just clenches the deal for me!
Texas is also where most of those awful "canned hunts" occur, where they
take an unwanted TAME large cat (cheetahs, cougars, bobcats, etc) out in
a cage and let it loose (while 10 men surround it with guns and dogs) so
some yuppy can shoot it for a trophy. Texas is also where most of the
slaughter houses that process horses are, along with being the top beef
cattle raising state. The state is permeated by death. No offense, but
that sounds like an awful place to live if you are an animal lover.
