Thanks, Terrie and everyone. I have never, ever seen a kitty without front legs either - tends to indicate they either don't survive or people have them pts. Not my decision in this case, but if that would be best I will try to persuade these people. I believe even the other kittens may have difficulties - they will probably become what are known as "swimmers" - they rest on the rib cage and ribs compress the organs and more problems come about because of it. And we don't know if there are any other abnormalities yet, either . . .
