Del, I think Effie was positive on Elisa initially, wasn't she? So if more
than 90 days went by since then, and now she's negative on IFA, this is
looking pretty good. You might want to do another Elisa now, just out of
curiosity, if you can afford to. I'd also test again in 3 to 6 months - if
negative then, yaay! How old is she? Looks like either a mistake on that
first Elisa, or she fought it off.
Effie's first Elisa (Feb) strong positive, second Elisa 3/1 strong positive, third Elisa 3/29 faint positive. 5/3 IFA negative. CBC and Chem results 5/3 normal.
Next Elisa 5/13, spay then also.
Looking hopeful so far!!!! And yes, I intend to retest the IFA in three months.
Everyone on this list has been very helpful, initially I didn't think I could keep her due to having other cats and where to put her but that worked out. She has a 3-car garage (heat and air conditioning as needed) and a nice enclosed porch with cat tree to watch the birds and squirrels. She thinks she is in kitty heaven. Lots of toys and play time. She could have petting time but mostly she is waaaaaaaaaaaay to busy being a kitty.
About 3 months old when I found her living in the brush and a shallow cave under the pavement of the parking lot where the dirt had washed away, beside the interstate behind a gas station. About six months old now, 5.8lb. On daily interferon, derm caps, lysine, Missing Link. Nutro kitten canned food with some Nutro kitten dry.
