Dear Denise,

I know your frustration! Hang in there! Is Spot's Stew available anywhere
near you? It's very soupy (I make my own 'soup' by soaking dry food in hot
water which has been swished around with some gravy from canned food, and a
little baby food). My tribe seems to like my 'soup' when they are under
the weather. I wanted something more nutritious for Chappy, though, and I
tried Spot's Stew when he wasn't eating and he did lap it up; I was elated!
It's really good stuff; you could pretty much eat it yourself; made with
human-grade ingredients and no preservatives or additives. It's a bit
costly, but worth every cent! If I could afford to, I would feed it
exclusively. Might be worth a try. Good luck!!

Julie

Grandpa Jack is still not eating. Still Sub-Q'ing and force feeding
Nutrical and a mush made from Hill A/D and KMR baby formula. Thank you ALL
for reminding me of all the *tricks*. I have now tried salmon, tuna
juice,
lunch meat, raw chicken, raw liver, cooked liver, baby food (turkey), AND
his all time favorite..the gravy from Whiskas oceanfish in a pouch (he
never
has eaten the morsels, just laps up the gravy), but still NOTHING!!
Meanwhile, my human kids are eating pizza and Top Ramen every night,
because
I haven't had the energy to cook anything for them !! Jack keeps teasing
me though...coming to the bowl, sniffing (especially the fishy stuff) and
then just hang his head over plate! I even tried the baby food on the
spoon trick ! ARG !! Geez......I was hoping it wouldn't come down to
this..........but I'm off to buy some Fancy Feast.
