Thanks for that info. I would never inject it anyways. Do you happen to
know what the dilution most shelters use is, or do they use it full
stregnth in the ears? I can't imagne you'd need to, like I said, he put
very little in what I got that time, and it worked great. Luckily, there
don't seem to be many (if any) earmites in Vermont. I haven't seen a
single barn cat with the tell-tale missing ear fur and redness since I
moved here.

Jenn, this has been the standard medication in many shelters to use for
earmites and tapeworm, and also for ferals (in the ears or as injectable)
because made up this way it is inexpensive. It also is the main med in
Heartguard for heartworms. Only one problem - it can cause diarrhea in young
kitties and kittens, especially in the injectable form, so use judiciously if
cat is young.
