Jamie, I am soooo happy for Anne, her Ray was an exceptional beautiful tabby. I bet ya those babies chose her and not the other way around. !!!!! How about some more good news, I have recently been reunited with a younger sister, 11years old, that makes us er, very far apart !!!! Turns out the child has had pups and kitties follow her from school just the way I did, LOL. Yeah my dad has produced two rescuers a couple of generations apart. My sister, Katy has a dobe that is about 8. Thats most of her life. I convinced her mom to take him to the vet for a couple of health issues. He has a couple of lumps that we are concerned about among other things. My father and his wife are not "special needs" kinda people so I know if the results are not good Alex won't be given a chance. I can't help A older dobe in pain in a very small place with 4 sick cats just isn;t gonna work. I am gonna help Katy with her interest in rescue. she loves my pups and is having a blast learning about the cats illnesses and their treatment. Some time during the summer and we will give you lots of notice, I would like to bring Katy to your facility for a tour. Do you think what we do is part of some inborne need and not necessarily environmental? its just amazing that a sister I never knew feels exactly the way I do with animals. Any way not to bore you but It will be nice to teach and leave someone with the knowlege that I gained and maybe in her lifetime see a cure for feline fiv and felv. Karen
