Sherry, How heartbreaking, I simply can't imagine what you are going through, its easy for me to sit here and say PTS or not and watch him suffer. I can't do that, when its time Mickey will let you know and you will know it your heart that it is right. It sounds like I am a nut case but I would swear that the cats "tell" me when they don't wanna fight anymore and I never second thought my decision to PTS on the kitties. Now Alex is a different story. My moms cancer got to a point where they refused to treat her anylonger. They said the treatments would do her more harm than good. I sought three doctors and accepted it after the third said there was no chance. Of course PTS is not an option with a person, but it was very hard to give up and just let her die. It was a slow horrible painful death and I am glad that I have the option to let the kitties go when it is time. I hope that doesn't sound too cruel.
