I thought of another
big concern....the stove top!!! We used to have an electric stove top, and
the burners took forever to cool down...or, I might have been cooking; anyhow,
my kitties have always jumped up on the stove top, ( no disicipline) so I always
keep a pot or pan on the burner. Now, I have gas, so I have to make sure
Sammy doesn't leap up and swish his tail into the flame. I always swoop
him up and put him on the floor. I never leave the kitchen unattended if I
can help it with the burner on. Like Julie, I have to be very careful
about candles. Never thought about the liquid
potpourri...........thanks!!!
Poison....The only
roach control I use (I only see about 6 per year) is Harris Roach tablets-made
of boric acid and not toxic to dogs/cats. I scatter them under furniture, and no
cat has ever touched one.But when the roach totters out, acting sick, I quickly
flush him-sorry, Nancy, I know you don't kill roaches! No other sprays
except one that is made totally of mint for sugar ants.
