YES; the stovetop!! See, now, one of the benefits of having a cat that likes to pee on the stove is that I always have something on the burners!!! How lucky am I??
Another heat-related problem: radiators. In my old Victorian house they are cast iron and they will burn you if you touch them. I keep them covered with a towel or small blanket year round because the cats like to get up there and sleep even when they are not warm. Somebody jumped up on one last year (Cisco, I think) and he zigged when he should have zagged and dislodged the towel and came flying off shaking his front paws. The were not burned badly, I stuck them in cold water and he was fine. Since the radiators are right up against the walls, I try and stuff the towel tight between it and the wall so that this won't happen. We are going to have a great list when we're done!
