Sorry to hear about Alec. I hope he improves. Not sure on the 
interferon how long it will take to see an improvement.

I think it took Charmed 2 weeks before I saw some noticable 
difference but I had changed his diet started to give him other 
things too.

You may want to see if you can get some DMG. I really think this 
stuff is great. It helps build the immune systems. When Bamama I 
gave it to her and it seemed to help along with the vitamin C.

Good choice in adding nutra cal. That seemed to put weight on 
Spider when he lost weight and with extra vitamins.

I also used a few drops of eccihincea (sorry about spelling) when 
my cats are sick that seemed to help. But not too much due to the 
taste they will foam at the mouth.
