Hi there.

I found a stray cat in my neighborhood that was in very bad shape. Up until today I have been boarding her at my vet's office (until thebill jsut startedgetting too big to bear)and we have addressed all of her medical needs. I named her Millie. I also had her tested for FIV/FelV and she is negative. She has been dewormed, de-flea'd, Frontlined, bathed, vaccinated, and has gained a pound or two since I found her (she was emaciated). I am also in the process of trying to get a voucher to get her spayed by a local nonprofit. I am trying to find her a home I am desperate for help.

I have two cats and a dog of my own in an apartment and am currently "fostering" her in my bathroom and it is not working out so well. She is tame but is pretty irritable from all of the stress and changes. She really needs some time to getused to love and attention. I am positive she is not feral. I just can't manage to turnMillie into a shelter b/c apparently it is kitten season and the likelihood of her getting adopted (although she is young and quite cute) is slim-to-none. I have heard she will most likely have a few pretty miserable days in a shelter before she is put to sleep. She has to be miserable in my bathroom even though I try to go in there as much as possible to talk to her, etc. I have contacted more than20 rescues and no one has a place to foster her, or house her. As much as I would love to help...I obviously cannot just walk by and ignorea starving animal, I am just not equipped emotionally or financially to handle Pet #4.

I am begging anyone who thinks they might be able to help me to please help me help Millie.
