Bonnie,

When Charmed was diagnosed with Cancer my regular vet said to
continue but my holistic vet (which recommanded the interferon at
the beginning and the regular vet felt interferon was of no use on
felv) told me to stop. I didn't know why.

I asked her and she said that interferon helps stimulate the cells
immune systems but it stimulates cells. Interferon can't tell the
good from the cancer cells.

Peggy's cat had lymphoma and when she stopped interferon the
lymphoma seemed to quiet down and go away for 1.5 years then
came back.

So that's what my vet said to do about interferon. If I were your
brother I would check and get a few opinions on interferon and the
chemo.

As you see one of my vets said to stop and one said to keep using
it. I thought what the holistic vet made sense to me. But that was
my opinion. Seemed to work on Peggy's felv cat.

In the meantime healing thoughts and vibes to Jezebel.

Carla
