Up until then he had been able to move short distances and find a place to sleep :( So while I am very sad, I knew this was coming today. He actually lived much longer than we all thought after getting the terrible stomatitis 2-3 years ago. I will miss his beautiful blue eyes and the way he would talk the whole ride to the vets but I am relieved that he is no longer suffering. Thanks for all of your help in dealing with his stomatits, I learned a great many things on this list which I truly believe helped him live this last year or so--the supplements and treatments, etc. My other two FELV+ babies right now (knock wood) do not have any outward signs and I just need to focus on keeping it that way. tracy >
