      I don't know what your vet told you....but a vet told me that the whole purpose of interferon is to BOOST their immune system so they CAN fight the disease off. Without it....they have LESS of a chance of it going away...i say (and vet) if the interferon can't and won't hurt them....why not give it? I'll take all the help i can get ya know? My cat is also positive....and is NOT sick, but he is on the interferon, and he's doing great. Good luck with your kitty.....and please don't just listen to one vet, no matter how nice they are, not all vets know alot about FeLV, my first vet told me to put my cat down!! GRRR, SOOO glad i found everyone in this group, and got another vet! :) THANKS EVERYONE!!
