Hi everyone! I have a problem.....well my cats do! LOL I was away from home visiting family for 10 days, i got home today and my neighbor tells me that the power was off for 8 hours...and Tochet broke out my window,,,,and the house is being run by fleas!! EWWW...first off, damn fleas! Seems everytime the power goes off, every summer, and the house gets really hot the fleas move in...when the house is cold we never have a problem, well...my cat Tigger has LOTS of fleas, so does Precious, but Tochet (my positive kitty) doesn't seem to have many....then again, he's BLACK LMAO.....i want to go buy some frontline for all my pets, 3 cats and 1 dog, but i am confused weither to give to Tochet or not. He already has skin allergies...vet says due to fleas...so he NEEDS something, but now that he is +....can he handle the flea treatment? I really need my house flea free....i have a 6 month old baby, and my hubby is already throwing a fit!! 2nd...when we left, i locked Tochet in my bedroom, with the windows open, so he could stay in the window like he likes....my neighbor was just going to drop by every few days to make sure their feeders were full, when i got home....GUESS WHO greeted me at my car!! Yep...Tochet, looking like he has been free for days, i look up and see my screen has been pushed out! He had a lower roof to jump to, so he wasn't in danger of getting hurt...BUT he was free, outside with all the strays!! GRRR Oh yes...before i forget! My cat Tigger is 7 years old, and for some reason he goes through one of those abandonment issues when i leave, so he poops on all my small area rugs, and pees on all my floors! THANKS TIGGER! grrr Hubby was furious...but i explained he did not like it when i left for so long, and he HATES to share his litter box! What should i do about him when i leave? Hubby says to put him in the kennel with the dog, but Tigger gets stressed around strangers, and he RARELY gets along with other cats. Also....how do i get those smells out?? I have been cleaning my house for hours now! Not only did i come home to cat problems...i came home to air conditioning problems....everything was damp....and ceilings had moldy spots...had to scrub off. ETC ETC. See....bad night! LOL Anyhoo.....sorry sooooo long, any advice on ANYTHING i rambled about would be great! THANKS!! :) Yvonne I work from home...you can too! Interested?? |
