Subject: RE: Question for Sue in T.O.
Hi Sue,
Thanks very much for the suggestion. May I also ask which vet you go to? Is she a holistic vet?
Also, we would like to start our Twiggy on interferon. I read that you would get it delivered directly from U Guelph pharmacy. I spent a good chunk of last night trying to find a link for the pharmacy on the Guleph Veterinary site, but could not find it. Do I have to see one the docs first in order to get the interferon? Our Millie was on interferon before she passed away, but the vet got it from a place in Aurora, and it cost $60 dollars for a 2-month supply. I would only want a month's supply, seeing that interferon loses its efficacy in approx. 30 days.
May I also ask what vets at U Guelph you would recommend? In your opinion, are they considerably more experienced in dealing with FeLV than docs in private practice? Thank you for all your help Sue.
Gratefully, Janet and Norm
